Bickenhall Freehold Ltd (BFL) was formed on 19th September 1994. Please click here to download BFL’s Articles of Association.
If you are freeholder, you own a share in the freehold company and can influence BFL’s work by volunteering on one of the sub-committees or becoming a board member when a vacancy arises. Board members receive no payment or other tangible benefits other than the satisfaction of improving Bickenhall Mansions.

Potential new directors are asked to join sub committees prior to them being invited to the boards .
All directors are required to annually sign our code of conduct.
Role Of The BFL Board
BFL owns the Bickenhall building and estate. Our main roles are to protect the building and estate, identify opportunities for development and income generation, facilitate the Bickenhall Mansions freehold and lease extensions and monitor how effectively the management company carries out the day-to-day running of Bickenhall Mansions on behalf of BFL. Our scope covers;
Finance Revenue Budgeting, Forecasting, Monitoring and Reporting
Property Landlords Regulations, Licences to Alter and Lease Extensions
Estate Management Refurbishment Project & Wider Development Opportunities
Communications Website and Newsletters
BFL Representation On The BMML Board
Up to three BFL directors are chosen by the BFL board to be directors on the BMML board.
These ‘dual role’ directors not only represent BFL’s interest on BMML’s board, they work collaboratively and constructively with BMML for the collective benefit of Bickenhall Mansions.
BFL Annual General Meeting
The AGM is held in November in each year. In advance of the AGM, all freeholders will receive written details confirming AGM arrangements, voting and meeting protocols.
